The training also serves as an opportunity for managers to assess associates and determine who may be ready for more responsibility. “During some of our training events, we encourage different team members to lead the session based on areas in which they appear to excel,” he noted. “These sessions give us a clearer picture as to whom amongst the group is demonstrating leadership.”
