He Said, She Said A Romantic Comedy Hits the Stage at Howard University

Online, May 25, 2011 (Newswire.com) - He Said, She Said A Romantic Comedy, the comedic stage play, premieres in Washington, DC to a limited two-show engagement on June 18, 2011. With Howard University's Ira Aldridge Theater serving as its venue, the show is among a host of plays presented in part by the DC Black Theatre Festival. The play centers around a couple dealing with "the seven year itch." John, a struggling actor, and Jane, a successful relationship therapist, begin to figure out what type of person they have by their sides. Nonetheless, the couple takes its audience on a comedic ride inside their home as John and Jane spend an eventful evening with college friends who have revelations of their own to reveal during a card game of Spades.
The cast is rounded out by king of comedy Joe Clair (Russell Simmon's Def Comedy Jam, BET's Rap City), Candice Knox, Shaheed K. Woods, Ann Marie Yoo, Gil Charleston, Okema T. Moore, and reigning queen (Miss Black USA 2010)Osas Ighodaro. Shawn Luckey (Miracle at St. Anna) takes the helm as writer, producer and director.
