Healing Touch Charlotte, Inc. to Add Orthopedic Massage to Its Services
Healing Touch Charlotte massage center announced a new massage type added to the services list - Orthopedic massage for lower body.
Online, October 14, 2012 (Newswire.com) - For those who are in pain and live or work in the Charlotte NC region, Healing Touch Charlotte, Inc. will be adding Orthopedic Massage to its services.
Healing Touch Charlotte licensed massage therapist and owner David Turner talks about his upcoming educational retreat this October. "I am very excited about this additional training. I have a great respect for - and focus on - medical massage. Orthopedic and assessment strategies will help me help my clients even more."
The focus of October's course deals with the lower body, but this initial training is only the beginning - it's the beginning of an assessment and treatment path which will eventually cover treating the entire body with Orthopedic Massage, not just the lower portion.
David explains, "Several people have asked me what Orthopedic Massage is. When dealing with the lower body, it often deals with low back pain, shin splints, knee injuries, piriformis syndrome, illotibial syndrome, plantar fasciitis, and other nerve entrapment related pain. David stresses. Orthopedic massage for the upper body can help with frozen shoulder syndrome, thoracic outlet issues, sciatica, compressed discs, SI joint issues, whiplash injuries, arthritis, and tech neck.
"Yes, I know - that's a long description," Turner says. "The short version is: It's a form of pain management. One that I look forward to offering my clients in the future."
