Online, September 30, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Super Technologies, Inc., a USA company that specializes in software and application development as well as direct inward dialing services and hosted white label solutions, is pleased to share the success of its Health Management System SMS plug-in.
Health Management System's aim is to provide individuals and organizaitons with permission-guarded communication options to and from an expanded network via SMS. The new feature empowers "SMS in and reply back" communication which is extremely important for more accurate decision-making because of more accurate information: a patient's health records.
How does this work? HMS takes advantage of direct inward dialing phone numbers and GSM character of cell phones to send and receive messages. The solution creates a communication connection between the mobile phone and the web via direct inward dialing and SMS over IP.
The inventor of the solution, Rehan Allahwala stated, "Watch introduction to the inspiration of Health Management System on Youtube titled, "HealthManagementSystem.net." Health Management System is dedicated to Omair Lodhi, a former colleague of Super Technologies, Inc., who died because of mis-diagnosis and cancer. He was just 21 years old and the only son of his Mother."
Dr. Farhan Sabir, a physician and one of the first to sign up during the beta, added, "We see this as a simple and easy to use interface informing those with permission both by email and SMS of appointments, medication prescriptions, and so on. The patient is the one who gives the permission of who has access to his or her records. It is important in a world where people are extremely mobile to connect their doctors with each other for the best health care. I am proud to be a part of the grassroots level of this project."
HMS's new option of adding SMS capability helps in times such as natural disasters when typically a cell phone is the only technology or utilities infrastructure working. The doctor, the law, and the volunteer can more easily assist the "patient" who in this case is also a victim of something like a flood, hurricane, or earthquake.
