Healthcare Industry Will Create 3.2 Million Jobs by 2018 -Learn About Careers in Healthcare at Adelphi University on March 21-
On Thursday, March 21, Adelphi students will have the opportunity to network with leaders in management and administrative roles in the healthcare field.
Online, March 20, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Adelphi University's Center for Career Development in partnership with the Center for Health Innovation and the Healthcare Leaders of New York, will host "Making Connections: Careers in Healthcare," a networking opportunity for Adelphi students and alumni interested in management and administrator roles in healthcare on Thursday, March 21. Participants will receive one-on-one mentoring with leaders in the healthcare field and listen to professionals discuss the future of the industry. The event will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Adelphi University's Alumni House, 154 Cambridge Ave., Garden City, NY.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, 10 of the 20 twenty fastest growing occupations are healthcare related and healthcare will generate 3.2 million jobs between 2008 and 2018, more than any other industry. Attendees of this event will have the opportunity to ask questions and network with experts in medicine, nursing, health information technology, hospital operations, and health care support, among others.
