HealthCare Partners Named a Top-Performing Medical Group for Tenth Year in a Row

Online, September 25, 2013 (Newswire.com) - HealthCare Partners Medical Group today announced that it has been named a top-performing medical group in California for the tenth year in a row by the Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA), a statewide leadership group that promotes quality improvement, accountability, and affordability of healthcare.

The award is part of the IHA's Pay for Performance (P4P) program, the nation's largest non-governmental physician incentive program, which rewards medical groups for their performance compared to quality and resource use benchmarks. IHA awards are based on three P4P quality measurement domains including clinical quality, patient experience, and meaningful use of health information technology. In earning the IHA award, HealthCare Partners was compared to approximately 200 California physician organizations representing approximately 35,000 physicians providing care for about nine million members.
