Healthworks Fitness Centers Head Outdoors To Engage The Community In Exercise

Healthworks will play host to multiple free outdoor fitness classes throughout the summer at local venues.

Healthworks Fitness Centers for Women are going outside of their four walls this summer, offering free outdoor fitness classes to the public. These classes include Rebounding and Bootcamp in Copley Square on June 22nd and the very popular Zumba every Tuesday evening at the Esplanade Hatch Shell starting July 19th.

The Copley Square event will offer two varieties of classes, each 45 minutes in length. The first two classes, held at 11:00am and 12:00pm, will showcase Rebounding, a high energy cardio workout in which each participant will exercise on their own personal trampoline. The third class held at 1:00pm will be Bootcamp, a mix of both cardio and strength exercises, sure to get participants' heart rates up and calories burning. Healthworks has partnered with Powerade Zero to host the event in Copley Square, so participants will have a variety of complimentary beverage choices to rehydrate themselves after their workouts.

Starting July 19th through September 20th, every Tuesday evening at the Esplanade Hatch Shell, you will find a crowd "dancing" to Latin beats. This is the increasingly popular workout known as Zumba. As part of their new Healthy, Fit & Fun Program, The Esplanade Association has teamed up with Healthworks to offer 10 weeks of Zumba classes in the park. "We are so happy Healthworks is helping us bring this exciting fitness program to the public. Their instructors are exceptional and this free class will support the health and fitness of everyone who attends," said the Esplanade Associations Co Founder Jeryl Oristaglio.

"Zumba is a great choice to offer at the Hatch Shell because it is a fun class for all levels." said Healthworks Group Fitness Director Tavia Patusky "Beginners to pros of all ages can join in, have a great time and get their daily exercise in too."

"Our group fitness instructors are the best of the best, and we are happy to share their talents to help engage the community in exercise through these outdoor events," adds Healthworks President Mark Harrington.

"We are so happy to have teamed up with Healthworks. Their instructors are exceptional and we are extremely excited to work together on our Healthy, Fit and Fun summer program," said the Esplanade Associations Co-Founder Jeryl Oristaglio.
