Heating And Air-Conditioning Company Helps Non-Profits In The Hudson Valley
Online, May 19, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Newburgh, NY: Go Green Express Home Services isn't just thinking green locally; it's taking action by spreading some green to local not-for-profits in need. Ed Wolfe, Managing Director, announced today that the Go Green Local's second stop was at Equine Rescue, LLC, in Bloomingburg, New York, where it delivered a donation in the amount of $500.
The donation is the second "Whistle Stop" for the company's Go Green Local Community Assistance Program - an initiative that will make tracks to the doorstep of a different not-for-profit each month. "With this donation, we're saying Whoa! to the abuse and neglect of animals in the Hudson Valley by donating to the organization whose tireless work helps so many," Mr. Wolfe adds.
Since it was formed in 1996, Equine Rescue has rehabilitated abused or neglected horses and ponies and then found them homes with people who have given them another chance at being useful riding horses or companions. Some horses, which are less adoptable, live out their lives as permanent residents at the Rescue itself. (For more information visit http://www.equine-rescue.org.)
