Hein & Associates Expands International Tax Services with Addition of Stephen T. Williams

Denver, CO, August 12, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Hein & Associates LLP, a leading accounting and advisory firm announced today that as of August 18th, Stephen T. Williams will be joining the firm as National Director of International Tax Services at the Denver office.

Mr. Williams has over 25 years of experience assisting global companies and individuals on cross-border tax and transfer pricing issues.  Prior to joining Hein he lived in Calgary for 4 years where he worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).  In his former role as Associate Tax Partner he assisted Canadian clients on tax matters related to operations and investments in the U.S.  Prior to moving to Canada, Mr. Williams lived in the Dallas / Fort Worth area where he worked independently and with PwC as a corporate and international tax advisor. 

His leadership and years of cross-border experience will bring a new level of expertise to the firm. He will make an immediate impact on the scope of cross-border services we can provide.

Mr. Williams is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of CPAs. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Brigham Young University, and is a graduate of the MBA program at the University of Notre Dame.
