Hello Doily Launches an ECommerce Store on Etsy offering vintage and collectibles as well as fresh new hand made items.

Louisville, Kentucky based Hello Doily announces launch of its e-shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/HelloDoily# for unique vintage pieces created by Vickie Goodwyn. Hello Doily products brand that bridge the gap between old and new. Targeting lovers of all things vintage and design aficionados.

Its experiential collections weave stories of adventure and spontaneity into a range of products that can be purchased online: http://www.etsy.com/shop/HelloDoily#

"I have always had a love for vintage collectibles and love to sew and make things myself. Due to a recent accident, I have been off work for a while and needed a way to generate a little income. I also needed something to keep me from going mad while being stuck at home every day. My friends, Daryl & LaVonne Young, not only encouraged me to start this shop, but also furnished many of the vintage items and delivered everything to me. I would never have been able to do it without them and my husband taking on the physical labor involved," states Hello Doily CEO Vickie Goodwyn.

Since it's launch in 2005, the Etsy marketplace has seen constant growth, being established as the one-stop destination where people could sell their handcrafted, high-quality products. Currently, the site has over 25 million registered members and has facilitated transactions in over 200 countries in the United States and abroad. In 2012, members' sales reached an estimated $900 million, reporting a 70% increase from 2011. 2013 is the year Etsy.com expects to see a record $ billion in members' sales.

The shop is an offshoot of Hello Doily. If you would like more information, contact Vickie Goodwyn via email vrgoodwyn (at) gmail (dot) com.
