Online, April 6, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Hermitage Wine is proud to present Bordeaux Starlets, an exclusive wine event that focuses on Château wineries from the Bordeaux region. Throughout centuries of wine production around the world, Bordeaux is one of the few regions that hold the benchmark and standard of how wine-making should be approached and produced. It has also fashioned the style and elegance of "The Art of Wine Appreciation" for passionate wine lovers and attained a cult status in wider society.
Bordeaux Starlets will be held on 16th April 2012 at the newly launched Hotel Equarius located at Resorts World Sentosa. There will be a series of master classes, exclusive taste sessions as well as a dinner reception, all of which are held to showcase the great wines of Bordeaux. Anchor speaker, Lisa Perrotti Brown, will also share valuable knowledge on these fine wines.
Lisa Perrotti Brown's first encounter with wine led to a growing passion for wine experiences that enticed her to further her wine studies. From London to Tokyo and now Singapore, she has held on to several high-ranking roles in the wine trade. Her latest achievement is attaining her Master of Wine qualification after five years of rigorous study, palate work-outs and examinations.

Guests attending the master classes will get two opportunities to taste 8 Grand Cru Classes Chateaus vintages from 2007 and 2008.
Wine served - Vintage 2007 & 2008
â— Exclusive En-Primeur 2011 Tasting
Only 20 guests will get to attend this exclusive 30 minutes tasting session from 6.30 to 7.00 in the evening. The specially invited guests will have the privilege of tasting En-Primeur wine before it's bottled and released onto the market. En-Primeur is termed as "Wine Futures". This is the first time that such a tasting is extended to invited guests.

Guests and winery owners will enjoy a unique experience of mingling in a Fine Buffet setting with round table seating arrangement. Wine from 16 Chateaus featuring Vintage 2006 will be served to guests during the reception. Proceeds from the auction will go to Willing Hearts, a voluntary soup kitchen that provides meals to children, elderly and adults in various locations in Singapore.
