Hewitt Equipment Co., Quebec, Canada, Launches PRM Technology From LogicBay
Online, May 1, 2013 (Newswire.com) - LogicBay Corporation, a leading provider of Partner Relationship Management (PRM) solutions and the cloud-based Performance CenterTM portal technology, is pleased to announce an agreement to launch and deploy their Performance Center technology as the training and development solution for Hewitt Equipment Co.
Hewitt Equipment Limited is the authorized Caterpillar Dealer for the province of Quebec and Western Labrador, and, since 1995, through its subsidiary, Atlantic Tractors & Equipment Ltd., is also the Cat Dealer for the Maritime provinces. With headquarters in Pointe-Claire and 50 branches, the Hewitt Group sells, rents and services the full line of Caterpillar products through five divisions: Heavy Equipment, Material Handling, Energy, Trucks and Agricultural. The company will be using the Performance Center as their primary training and development solution for their employees and customers throughout Canada. The system will deliver web-based training, instructor-led training, social management, content management, dashboards and more.
Additionally, the Hewitt Academy will be fully integrated with the Caterpillar Global Dealer Learning and Development Center, which also runs on LogicBay's Performance Center Technology. This uniquely dual configuration allows Hewitt to not only deliver their company-specific training, it also allows Hewitt to seamlessly leverage all the deep resources of Caterpillar. For example, a Hewitt service technician can be assigned a single development plan that includes both Hewitt-specific training and the service certification programs from Caterpillar.
The training experience for that service technician is entirely seamless: s/he goes to a single development plan within the Performance Center and follows their plan. Assigning this seamless, integrated development plan is easy for the training manager and, when training is completed, all trainee records, whether from a Caterpillar course or a Hewitt course, are in the same integrated report
