Dino Digs fans get ready for MEGA fun from 1:00-4:00pm on Sunday March 16, 2014, at the Dinosaur Discovery Museum, Kenosha, WI! Dino Digs Mega Excavation, an engaging new program, allows kids to immerse themselves in the excavation experience! Dress up like a paleontologist, and learn about digging up, dinosaurs, and how bones are prepared in a real, dinosaur lab! Dino Digs are recommended for children ages three and up.
The Dinosaur Discovery Museum, offers, educational activities, and, programs like DINO DIGS, throughout the year. Kids get the opportunity to become, amateur paleontologists, donning safety goggles, and, using paleontologist tools. Dig for dinosaurs at our simulated, excavation sites. Experience the excitement of excavating, dinosaur fossils. Join us every Saturday and Sunday from 1-4pm for the ultimate hands-on experience! Learn, have fun, DIG IN, and get your hands dirty! Free!

The Dinosaur Discovery Museum, welcomes, school groups, for, guided tours. Our programs are well-suited for children.
The only museum to exclusively focus on the link between birds, and, meat-eating dinosaurs, the Dinosaur Discovery Museum, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, has one of the most complete known fossil records in the nation. The Museum collaborates with the Carthage Institute of Paleontology, (CIP) and its on-site laboratory in research, field work, and educational programs. This unique association aids the Dinosaur Discovery Museum in presenting the most current, ongoing research in the study of dinosaurs, and the collection and preservation of dinosaur specimens for its research collections.
HOURS: Tuesday through Sunday: Noon to 5 pm; Closed Mondays year round.
