Hidalgo Bancorp Finance $40 Million Fund for Cleantech Projects in Central America
Online, August 28, 2010 (Newswire.com) - PANAMA CITY, PANAMA - Hidalgo Bancorp (f//k/a Hidalgo Corporation) has announced launch of $40 million fund to aid cleantech companies in Central America. The funding program will develop jobs and reduce carbon emissions within developing countries as Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Belize.

The cleantech fund consists of grant and loan programs to small businesses operating in Central America that offset carbon emissions through renewable and alternative energy solutions.
