High Cost of IVF - Infertility Doctors Announces New IVF Technology!

They can now easily determine whether embryos have the correct number of chromosomes and do this within 24 hours - a procedure that has taken several attempts and weeks or months of testing before now. This has greatly reduced the cost of ivf to about $750 as against $5000-$10,000 which is the average cost IVF treatments carried out each year in licensed clinics in Britain.

A small-scale trial of this new technology has so far proved very effective. The first reported successful case of this new technology is the birth of baby Connor Levy in the US. Connor Levy parents who had been trying to start a family for five years without any success were highly elated with the coming of the baby.

With apparent joy Marybeth, mother of Connor Levy, recounted how tough it had been:

"It takes its toll, there were some days I would break down and cry, I wanted to hide in my bedroom and say stop. Then to see him... all this hard work and we have finally got our little tiny human being named Connor.
