High Profile Business Speakers Focus On Community Impact And Creating Business Value Through Effective Corporate Social Responsibility And Employee Engagement

The 2013 Strategy for Good Summit is a web conference from Monday, February 25 to March 1, 2013 featuring 30 business experts on the latest trends and best practices in corporate philanthropy, cause marketing, and employee engagement.

The five-day Strategy for Good Summit web conference kicks off in celebration of CECP's International Corporate Philanthropy Day. The Summit is an opportunity for business and nonprofit executives to learn about the latest trends and access great content and insider tips and strategies of 30 leading CSR and social good thought leaders and practitioners all together during one week - no travel required. Attendees can listen to the live broadcasts or later via MP3s at their convenience.

The world class Summit speakers represent a range of perspectives and approaches to giving back - from the Fortune 500 and experts in corporate social responsibility, cause marketing, employee volunteering, and grant making to independent, "cause committed" companies whose business models have social good "baked into" their DNA.

"Leaders from Ford Motor Company, Barefoot Wine, Zhena's Gypsy Tea, Rally Software, and Realized Worth are among those who are generously giving of their time to share insights with SUMMIT attendees," says Sue Hyatt, founder and CEO of Core Thought and the Strategy for Good Summit Host.

"The Strategy for Good Summit is designed to inspire companies to get more strategically involved in their communities and to demonstrate the many options businesses can choose from to give back and make an impact." adds Hyatt.

Speakers will address such topics as:
-- The leading edge trends in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and cause marketing and what it can mean for your company;

-- How your company can have a greater impact in the community through collective action and creating shared value;

-- Effective ways companies have garnered greater internal buy-in and company resources across departments for their community engagement;

-- Raising corporate visibility and reputation in the community by being active with a cause and effectively communicating the CSR and social good story internally and externally; and

-- Ways to strengthen employee engagement and corporate citizenship efforts in the community.

"The good news is that we don't have to choose between civic engagement and sizable profits. Great companies aspire to create BOTH and, in the process, become market front-runners and create great places to work. We can build businesses that are good for ourselves, our employees, community partners, and the larger world," says Hyatt.

The Summit runs from Monday, February 25 - March 1, 2013 and is free to attend with a choice of listening to sessions live or later as recordings are available for the 30 live web sessions after each presentation. Registration includes a self-assessment tool for participants to use to evaluate their current community engagement practices. Registration can be found at www.strategyforgoodsummit.com/registration
