'High School WordPress Design' Launches WordPress Theme In Schools
Online, July 31, 2012 (Newswire.com) - The website and e-commerce company 'HighSchoolWordpressDesign.com' has a new curriculum for students to open their WordPress blogs online on the World Wide Web. This new curriculum for the students is a technical course for high school students. This technical course is expected to instill blogging skills in the students so as to construct and utilize a WordPress blog.
The company has stated they were surprised to find no such courses available for the students. As an indispensable part of life and career skills, they should be made available to all high school students. Students in the past used to obtain whatever materials to build their WordPress blog while the instructors were also bound with resources to teach on WordPress Theme blogging. Facing the resources barrier the teachers had opted to stay away from teaching WordPress. With the help of this course the high school students get an enriched version of WordPress tutorials, notes, slides and can prepare a good blogging and learning environment online.
This new course curriculum on WordPress for students in high school includes 170 slides, core concepts, weekly quizzes and a final exam. Also includes the daily lesson plan for teachers to be used as course guidelines. The key aspect of teaching the six week course is for students to learn creating and editing their own WordPress blog and website. Essential and significant skills from the course are:
1. Creating Blog
2. Image and Video additions
3. Widget and Sidebar Configuration
4. Blog Comments
5. Themes and Graphics
6. Etiquette for Good Blogging
All WordPress fundamentals, basics and technical details would be afforded by high school students with these key concepts and skills. HSWD or High school WordPressdesign.com was launched in 2010 for providing the basic and advanced technical learning courses for teachers in collaboration with US teachers and WordPress designers and developers.
The overall aim was to bring more interest to the student's in becoming web designers with competitive skills without using any specialized softwares. The company designed these courses keeping the affordability criterion its main goal. The company expected a lower cost curriculum to be better than renewal memberships and therefore licensed the course on per school basis. Two other courses on web design and HTML5 are similarly being provided to high school students through the website company.
