High Speed Internet Access in All SDNY Courtrooms
The Southern District of New York has awarded Courtroom Connect an exclusive contract to provide subscribing attorneys with high speed Internet access from the Courthouse.
Online, September 16, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Subscribing attorneys will be able to send and receive e-mails, remotely access an office network, search trials databases, conduct legal research, communicate with war room staff, retrieve and print documents, and more. This secure, wired service can be accessed in each courtroom and in many ante rooms.
Courtroom Connect's service "will greatly facilitate the communications abilities of attorneys engaged in trials and other proceedings in the Courthouse, subject to the approval of the judge presiding," said the Court in a public notice.
