Hodges University to Award Credit for Pilot Licenses and Ratings
POMPANO BEACH, Fla., March 2, 2021 (Newswire.com) - Florida Aviation Academy flight training students may now receive credit towards a Bachelor of Science Degree at Hodges University for FAA licenses and ratings earned. Students accepted by Hodges University may be awarded up to 30 credit hours and will be eligible for scholarships, grants and student loans.

Credit hours may be applied to the University's Bachelor of Science Interdisciplinary Studies in Aviation program, or alternatively may be applied as elective credit to a variety of other associate or baccalaureate degree options offered at Hodges. All classwork for Hodges is offered online, so you don't have to be on-campus.
"While you attend Florida Aviation Academy flight school, you can complete your Bachelor of Science degree online, plus earn your Private Pilot through Commercial Pilot Licenses, all in less than three years," said Captain James Williams, Faculty Member at Hodges University Interdisciplinary Studies in Aviation Department. "The demand for pilots is expected to grow five percent per year through the year 2029," he quoted from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Both Hodges University and Florida Aviation Academy have rolling enrollment, with classes starting every month.
