Holistic Health Practitioner Stephanie Austin Named DEAC 2015 Outstanding Gradate from ACHS

Holistic Health Practitioner Stephanie Austin has been named the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) 2015 Outstanding Graduate for American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS).

Since her successful completion of her Diploma in Holistic Health Practice (HHP) in 2009, Austin has used her personal experiences in healing with holistic nutrition techniques to inspire and empower many through her health coaching practice, Wellness by Mother Nature. Austin has been the Director of Education and Board Member and is currently a guest facilitator for the nonprofit organization, The Wellness Kitchen.

“My education in holistic health has given me a tremendous opportunity to empower people to overcome challenges that may seem hopeless or debilitating,” says Austin. “I am honored to be using my education and passion for holistic healing to help people throughout their journey of restoring wellness.”

Austin graduated from ACHS with a 3.97 GPA, balancing her passion for holistic health and wellness with the demands of life outside academia as an adult learner pursuing a credential through distance education.

“Stephanie was a wonderful student and a joy to have in my classroom,” says ACHS President and Founder Dorene Petersen, who taught Austin in NAT 203 Historical Modalities I: Iridology Online at ACHS. “She has overcome incredible obstacles in her life, and she has used those experiences as motivation to gain more knowledge. The way she is helping others through her holistic health practice and nonprofit organizations makes me very proud, and I’m pleased to honor her with the 2015 Outstanding Graduate Award.”

As a holistic health practitioner, Austin has helped people achieve balance through methods such as meditation, herbs, movement, supplements, aromatherapy, homeopathy, nutrition, mind-body connection, energy healing, and by closely listening to the needs of her clients.
