Hollywood Night Fundraiser in Pontiac MI July 22 2010 to Benefit Spinal Injury Awareness
Online, June 9, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Detroit, Mich. June 9, 2010 - Guardian Angel Health Care, a leader in Home Health Care Services will host the First Annual Hollywood Night at the Lafayette Grande in Pontiac on Thursday, July 22, 2010. Proceeds from Hollywood Night will benefit the D-Man Foundation, an organization dedicated to bettering life for those with spinal cord injuries.
"Survivors of spinal cord injuries are true stars," said Ziad Kassab, CEO of Guardian Angel. "Through the D-Man Foundation, it is our hope to be able to provide hope and happiness to these courageous men and women, by providing them outlets for creativity through music or by giving them and their families the chance to just take a well deserved vacation. But they need our help. On this one night we can be the miracle they so desperately need."
In addition to supporting funding special care for those with severe physical or mental impairments, proceeds from Hollywood Night also will help the nonprofit organization extend its outreach to funding for assisted travel for the severely physically impaired and their families, as well as creative outlets through recording studio access and programming for the physically or mentally impaired.
"Hollywood Night is not the usual stuffy event- we're putting the Fun back in fundraiser," said Kassab. "Attendees will have a true Hollywood experience from the time they walk up the red carpet to interacting with celebrity impersonators to the incredible live performances planned. On top of it all we'll be honoring the can-do spirit with the Angel Awards- a special recognition of people who are survivors who are making a difference in their community. It's more than just a dinner- it's the sort of night we'll all be talking about for years- and its all to help people who really deserve it."
Participants may purchase tickets online at neptix.com or by calling (248) 267-0208. Cost is $150 per person or $250 per couple. A variety of other sponsorship and contribution opportunities are available. The D-Man Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
