Hollywood Production Center: Cinco De Mayo, Taste Walk Glendale

LOS ANGELES, May 1, 2018 (Newswire.com) - The Hollywood Production Center loves to celebrate with their amazing tenants and looks forward to another fun-filled Cinco de Mayo tenant appreciation day. This year, the fiesta is happening Thursday, May 3, 12:30 p.m., at their South Brand and East Broadway locations in Glendale. The West Lexington Glendale location will celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Friday, May 4, at 12:30 p.m. Catering at the various locations will include delicious food like asada, and chicken tacos from Tacos Teresa, and an assortment of Mexican dishes from Acapulco. Margaritas and soda will also be provided.

Cinco de Mayo recognizes the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War. Though it’s not much celebrated in Mexico, it’s common to find people across the country celebrating with parades, mariachi bands, and street festivals. The center celebrates in order to give tenants a chance to stretch their legs, step away from their desks and have some fun with friends and neighbors.

A Tasteful, Flavorful Evening

Hollywood Production Center takes every advantage to help tenants connect with local professionals and integrate with the community. And the center is excited to again participate in the Taste Walk Glendale this year. When the walk is underway on May 2, from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., the centers South Brand location will be one of the event stops. Entertainment will include musical performances outside the 127 S Brand building. Stoppers by will also enjoy candy and treats.

Taste Walk Glendale, formally The Taste of Downtown Glendale, offers the best of Downtown Glendale, all at once. Walkers explore the downtown restaurant row area, visiting over 40 restaurants, wine and beer stations, and musical stages. The anticipated 1,000 people is sure to invigorate the downtown community. Proceeds of Taste Walk Glendale benefit Glendale Arts and the Alex Theatre. Glendale Arts will designate a portion of the proceeds to support the Glendale YWCA Camp Y Summer Youth Program.
