Hollywood St Patricks Box-Office

A new idea for the St Patrick's Week box-office niche.

Why is it that the world celebrates St Patrick for as long as it takes to sober up, but Hollywood has yet to tap into this ready made box-office niche?

Officer Huckleberry Foley aims to change all that in "Foley Huck", the first in a series of Stage-Irish comedy features that share some unique insights into the forces behind the emergence of a serious liability in global policing.

We say in Ireland that humor is the last resort of the oppressed, and oppressed is what we Irish are right now, both economically, and spiritually.

Part of the reason for our St Patrick's Day gloom is undoubtedly because we have not had an Anglo-Irish-American movie success for quite some time.

Sooner or later our luck is bound to change.

Liam Neeson did it with Michael Collins; My Left Foot was a roaring success; The Wind that Shakes the Barley came close.

Who dares to charm the box-office with Officer Huckleberry Foley and his colleagues in "Foley Huck"?
