Homes for Heroes® Affiliates with Wisconsin's Top Realtors to Provide Workforce Heroes
With Steep Savings

A hot spring housing market is impending and so are home buying and selling rebates and discounts from national program Homes for Heroes

Homes for Heroes is thrilled to announce a partnership with Wisconsin realtors to offer considerable savings to local workforce heroes when buying or selling a home. With the spring housing market here, Homes for Heroes of Dane County is gearing up to serve as many heroes in the Madison area as possible.

The national program, which aims to help close the gap between the cost of housing and buyers, caters to workforce heroes such as military personnel, police officers, firefighters, teachers, first responders and others who serve our community and nation every day.

Three of Madison's top realtors have agreed to a 25 percent rebate on the gross brokerage commission, discounted lender fees on purchases or refinances with a Homes for Heroes preferred lender as well as discounts with closing services for the title company and home inspections. To sign up for the program, heroes need only to fill out a simple application at www.HomesForHeroes.com.

Leading Keller Williams® realtors Devery Cash, Lynn Holley, Ronda Lawry and lender Kathy Jasper are the first real estate professionals in the state of Wisconsin to affiliate with Homes for Heroes.

Holley said the Homes for Heroes program is her chance to give back and provide an awesome professional service at the same time.

"I am so excited and honored to be a part of Homes for Heroes," Holley said. "As a lifelong Madisonian, I have seen the incredible work that our heroes perform for us in our award-winning city. Their work is part and parcel of what makes the Madison area so desirable for home buyers."

About Homes for Heroes

Founded in 2002, a group of Minnesota real estate professionals were inspired to create Homes for Heroes, Incorporated following the events on Sept. 11 and bolstered by a shared admiration for the hometown heroes who serve and protect our country. The mission of Homes for Heroes is to provide extraordinary savings to local heroes who provide extraordinary services to our community every day. Its sister program, Friends of Heroes, consists of community vendors outside of the real estate-related profession that offer discounts to heroes for savings beyond the closing.

While the program's genesis and primary concentration originally was intended to serve the Minnesota real estate market, word of the Homes For Heroes benefits spread throughout the country. With the far-reaching power of the Internet, this originally local-only effort spiraled into a growing nationwide program. Wisconsin marks Homes for Heroes' involvement in 30 states.
