Hometown Satellite, Inc. Gives Back to Lansing Community It Serves
Haslett, MI, November 11, 2015 (Newswire.com) - While many companies have been raising rates and keeping a tight grip on their profits
in these rather trying economic times, Jchon Perkins, President and CEO of the Lansing-based company, Hometown Satellite, Inc., has identified a unique opportunity for people to kill two birds with one stone- it’s new promotion it’s offering, running now through January 13, 2016, offers new customers who sign up with Dish TV a great deal...at locked-in rates, and they’ll donate $50 cash to the Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) on the behalf of each new customer.
"It's really a win-win for everybody involved. More like a triple win,' if you will. Not only do customers get a great deal while the company attracts new customers, but the community benefits as well by the increased contributions to the area animal shelter, as well as, the fact that keeping the dollars right here in the community improves all facets of the community's economic health."
Jason Stoneking, Director of Marketing
Each donation of $50 goes a long ways… much further than most people realize. According to Penny Pearsall, Director of Community Relations at the CAHS, fifty dollars would feed a litter of puppies for a whole week and/or provide testing, vaccines and spay/neuter surgery for one animal! That’s a lot of bang for the buck. CAHS and Hometown Satellite are doing everything they can to raise funds for these animals in need, using TV, newspaper, website, and even social media advertising.
Hometown Satellite, Inc. feels they have a responsibility to give back to the community his company serves, and sees this promotion as a way of doing just that. His philosophy is one that believes in doing business while always keeping his duty of social responsibility at the front of his mind, through practices such as contributing to reputable organizations such as the CAHS.
Hometown Satellite, Inc. provides service and installation for a variety of providers, such as Dish, DirecTV, Exceed, HughesNet, and more. Installation for these services is also done by Hometown and its staff of competent installation experts. The company isn’t limiting itself to just TV service and installation however, and has indicated it will soon be rolling out some cutting edge services for homes that will make life at home more enjoyable, efficient and thus, more economic in general.
