HootSuite - The Evilest Tool for Internet Marketers!!

Online, August 8, 2013 (Newswire.com) - HootSuite is supposed to be an extremely convenient tools for all Internet Marketers to manage their multiple social media account. It's definitely a great tool because you can compose a message and then deliver to all the Social Networks like Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, WordPress...etc, that you are engaging. However, when HootSuite comes to the hands of Biz-Opp-ers, especially those who are new in this industry, it becomes a spamming machine... When you go to different groups in Facebook that are related to business opportunities, Internet marketing, MLM, Network Marketing or online businesses, what you can find are only ads posts flood on the whole page and all are about different bizopps. Most of them are just posting their sales page link and if they are luckily enough, they would have 0.03% of Click-Through-Rate so that people would take a look on what they are selling. Now a small portion of people would try to leave a tempting message and ask you to inbox them. You can imagine how effective it is...

Who is the Murderer Of Facebook Groups... HootSuite?

I must say, those groups are dead! Who killed them? HootSuite? Maybe, maybe not. Even though those advertising posts were already fully filled with different groups before HootSuite exists, it definitely speed up the dying process! It's just like a zombie virus infecting the groups and creates more zombies to bite other groups... I think this metaphor is brilliant!! :)

Of course there are very few groups that have put up their wall to defend the zombies' attack. Only those groups with good and responsible admins can stay alive! But it is just like an extinct specie. Of course it is still worth you to spend time to find these extinct groups because most of the time, good and helpful marketers are located in these groups. They are aimed to give value to help others. Just make sure you won't spam these groups, otherwise you will be banned instantly.

Is it meaning that you can't use HootSuite to promote your stuff?

Absolutely right! Never use HootSuite to promote stuff! So... is it meaning that there is no way to make money by using this convenient tool? Wrong. We don't promote stuff by using it. In fact, if you want to be a successful marketer, never put your focus on promoting products or programs. Always focus on promoting You and your services.

So How can we explore the Social Media market by using HootSuite?

Still, Social Media is the best platform for us to expand our online business. Like Facebook, it has more than 1 billion (around 1.15 billion) monthly active users. It means that there could be millions of people on Facebook looking for business opportunities. The only question is How can you attract people to know about you and get inspired to join your business?

I would conclude it into a 4-steps process:

1. Know your market

What is your niche and where will your people most likely to be located at. Then find those groups out. Basic!

2. Know their surface desire and core desire

Figure out their surface desire like: how to get more people to click on their link, how to get more leads, how to increase the conversion rate, something like that. And knowing your audience's core desire is the key to attract them to join your business. Of course, this part should be done in your sales funnel.

3. Give value

Basically, people in those biz opp groups are trained to not to look at other people's offer. They will just skip your post if they find there is an affiliate link in your message. What we going to do is to give pure value. Of course we want them to subscribe into our list, so what we do is to give value 1 which is really cool and can really help them in their business. Then if they want to know about value 2 which is also really awesome, they have to subscribe into your list to get value 2. So now you will understand since in the pure value 1, it could be a passage, a blog post or a short YouTube video, you were not selling anything. People are more likely to listen to you and subscribe into your list to see what is the awesome value 2. And this is how you can capture some really targeted leads.

4. Automation - By Using HootSuite
