HostMe Closes Series a Round, Quadruples Number of Customers in 1st Half 2016
Bellevue, WA, July 4, 2016 (Newswire.com) - HostMe LLC - creator of the HostMe restaurant management system and mobile application – has closed its Series A Round and reports that, since December 2015, it has quadrupled the number of restaurants signed up for the company's solution.
Founder and CEO Evgeny Popov said "Our team has done an incredible job building quite a sophisticated and competitive solution in a short period of time. That achievement allowed us to attract investors and close this financial round that will help us expand sales and marketing efforts – initially in the United States and Canada, and later in Europe, where we see an opportunity as well."
We see an opportunity to improve both diner experience and restaurant operations on a large scale and we believe that Evgeny is a key player with a proven track record in developing, selling, and deploying state-of-the-art, high quality application software.

“We see an opportunity to improve both diner experience and restaurant operations on a large scale,” said Jim Shaffer, director of The Shaffer Family Trust, regarding the Trust’s reasons for investing in HostMe. “And we believe that Evgeny is a key player with a proven track record in developing, selling, and deploying state-of-the-art, high quality application software.”
For the past several months, HostMe has been collecting feedback from customers and incorporating the feedback into its restaurant management tool. To improve the experience for its customers, HostMe has redesigned its app and improved usability. Popov said "We are certain that the best User Interface is what differentiates us from other competitors. Today, our system is already ahead of existing platforms like OpenTable or SeatMe when it comes to usability and features."
HostMe plans to pull even further ahead of competitors by adding new features into its system, while remaining affordable for small restaurants that want to increase their viability and success by using a technology that offers reservation, wait list, and table and loyalty management tools. By offering a superior technology at a reasonable price, the company aims to triple its current number of customers by the end of 2016.
Popov said "To be honest, we have quite ambitious plans. I don't want to spoil the surprise, but what I can say right now is that we are working on very promising enhancements and new features that will help us get closer to our ultimate vision – to become the most trusted front-of-house management system for the restaurant industry, supporting the restaurateur's vision, guiding and empowering the staff to succeed at their jobs, and making the owner's dreams come true."
HostMe's future marketing efforts will include campaigns across the United States, Canada, and Europe. The company also plans to open a development office in St. Petersburg, Russia, and expand its team.
HostMe LLC offers the ultimate restaurant management tool that reduces frustration for diners, hosts and restaurants—replacing the traditional reservation system with a real-time app that makes no-shows and big buzzers obsolete. HostMe is the only system that also offers a marketing tool – Reservly – that restaurants can use to show off their hottest open tables to millions of diners via social media.
