HottywoodHelps.com Introduces Junior Hottywood Writer of the Month Initiative

Online, December 28, 2010 (Newswire.com) - On January 1, 2011, HottywoodHelps.com will feature its first Junior Hottywood Writer of the Month, Donovan McCoy, a 5th grade student at Francis Stevens Education Campus, located in Washington, DC.

The Junior Hottywood Writer of the Month Initiative endorses reading comprehension and information sharing and is designed to applaud and encourage students' writing abilities; challenge students to think like authors, reporters, and/or bloggers; and allow students to explore their imagination and freely express their creative thinking.

In addition to Donovan McCoy being chosen as the site's first official Junior Hottywood Writer of the Month, his letter is also featured in the late 2010 release, "I Live Real Close to Where You Used To Live: Kids' Letters To Michelle Obama (and to Sasha, Malia, & Bo)"; a collection of letters written by kids across America to Michelle Obama and her daughters Malia and Sasha, plus a few tips to their dog, Bo.

McCoy's article will be HottywoodHelps.com's first youth feature in a series of student written works.
