How Do You Cool A Datacenter? ATS Latest Webinar on October 27th Gives Attendees The Answer

Advanced Thermal Solutions' next webinar is on October 27th, 2PM EST, ""Tools and Techniques for the Thermal Management of Small, Medium and Large Scale Data Centers". Registration is now open for this free webinar.

Advanced Thermal Solutions, Inc, ATS, will present a free technical engineering webinar "Tools and Techniques for the Thermal Management of Small, Medium and Large Scale Data Centers" on Thursday, October 27th, at 2PM EST, from its Boston-area design and manufacturing campus.

Datacenters are at the heart of cloud computing and they are one of the strongest growth segments today in electronics equipment. Equipment for the data centers that provide the infrastructure for cloud computing services, such as Apple's iCloud or Dropbox, are slated to grow to $126B per year in 2015, according to a Gartner study. SmartData Collective, an online community for enterprise leaders, recently published a map showing many major internet companies were bringing large scale data centers online. The list showed Google spending at least $1 billion on data centers in Ireland, Asia and the U.S.; Facebook investing $450 million to bring a data center online in the U.S. and Microsoft spending $1 billion on datacenters in Ireland and the U.S. All this adds up to real growth in the data center market and the growing need for thermal management of datacenters.

Datacenters are effectively large scale systems whose components are racks of computers. Novel approaches to cooling datacenters of various sizes are being undertaken today to obtain the best and most green cooling possible. This webinar will consider approaches for small, medium and large scale datacenters to achieve a given datacenter's cooling goals.
