How Pay-As-You-Go Customers Can Avoid Price Spikes
Online, July 4, 2011 (Newswire.com) - As nine million Orange & Vodafone Pay-As-You-Go customers are faced with massive price hikes this month, Vizz Mobile, the UK's latest mobile entrant offers a way for customers to not only make cheaper calls but ensure they are getting value for money when using their mobiles.
Orange customers as of today will face a 25% hike in charges, as minimum costs rise from 20p to 25p. Text messages will increase by 20%, from 10p to 12p.
Vodafone Simply tariff users face hikes from July 14 - 19% on minimum call charges, up from 21p to 25p, and 20% on texts, which will now cost 12p instead of 10p.
Vizz Mobile, who launched in January 2011 and has kept prices for their Pay-As-You-Go customers consistently low with a UK national call rate charge of 4p per minute and text messages at 8p. The company has confirmed that these prices will remain at this level for the foreseeable future.
