HTC One is definitely up for the running as the best smartphone on the market, especially with the Samsung Galaxy S 4 coming out soon. HTC definitely brought in the big guns by upgrading the camera, screen, sound and design. With the camera, HTC took a very different approach. Instead of increasing the megapixels, they increased the ability to take quality low-light pictures by utilizing the "UltraPixel" technology. The pixel resolution of the camera is 4 megapixels, which is perfectly fine for sharing pictures on Facebook and Twitter. The body of the phone is measures 5.41 by 2.69 by 0.37 inches and looks incredible. Full aluminum body that comes in silver or black, full grill speakers and microphone on the front and 2 large physical buttons.

The display is 4.7 inches and is by far the best screen on the market. The Super LCD 3 display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution results in a 468 ppi screen with stunning colors and deep blacks. The HTC One has Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.0 skin. The Sense 5.0 can be removed if the user wants to have more a vanilla Android experience. The processor is incredible - Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 APQ8064T quad core 1.7GHz Krait 300 processor flies through every app, game, website or any other program. The 2GB of RAM definitely helps as well. The last punch HTC landed was the sound. HTC uses dual membrane microphones, which are the best noise cancelling microphones available. The huge speaker grills have a built-in amplifier and tops out at 93dB. The HTC One is loaded and ready for a fight when Samsung comes along.

Be able to work, play and drive handsfree with a quality Bluetooth headset. The HTC One Plantronics M25 Bluetooth headset features DeepSleep mode to stay charged for up to five months, so it's ready when it's needed. The user can listen to music, Internet radio, or driving directions and never miss a call. Whispered alerts keep the user informed about battery level, Bluetooth connection, and more. Plantronics DeepSleep power-saving mode activates when the M25 is away from the HTC One phone for over 90 minutes. When it's back in range (33 feet or less), just tap the Call button to "wake" it up. Using the DeepSleep mode can extend the battery readiness for up to five months.

The HTC One should run fine through a full day without needing a charge, but if it's pushed to the limits it'll need a little backup power from a vehicle charger.
