Hush Puppies Airstream Event at Shoegasm

Online, September 22, 2010 (Newswire.com) - New York, NY - Shoegasm is partnering with Hush Puppies for a special event to celebrate the launch of the Hush Puppies Nineteen Fifty-Eight Collection. The event will take place on September 23, 2010 at the 71 - 8th Avenue Shoegasm location as a stop on the Hush Puppies Nineteen Fifty-Eight Airstream Tour. The public is welcome to join the festivities.

To celebrate the launch of this collection, Hush Puppies debuted its custom, vintage Airstream in June in New York City at the FFANY shoe show. Recently remodeled and customized in mid-century appropriate furnishings, the Airstream is touring cities around North America to promote this iconic collection.

The Nineteen Fifty-Eight Collection for men and women is an archival reissue of many of the most popular silhouettes from the early days of the brand. On-trend styling with updated comfort features, the collection is an array of styles in vintage-like leathers as well as the celebrated suede that is synonymous with Hush Puppies.

The event at Shoegasm will run from 2 pm to 6 pm and feature an enter-to-win contest, giveaways, music, tours of the Hush Puppies Airstream and a preview of the Spring 2011 Nineteen Fifty-Eight Collection.
