HybridLight And Team SLR Prepare For Daytona
Online, February 15, 2013 (Newswire.com) - The team has been hard at work this offseason getting the #8 Chevy's ready for this next step. "We formed a partnership with TBR (Tommy Baldwin Racing) which allows us the ability to gradually transition our Team into the NASCAR Nationwide Series over two seasons. We competed in 3 races at the end of last season to begin the building process, evaluate our weaknesses and sharpen our focus for 2013. We believe that this will be the best approach for our organization as well as our existing marketing partners.
We plan to continue our growth and race the entire season in 2014 and beyond," continued Lagasse Jr. "I am excited to be working with Tommy Baldwin and to have his experience, his input and guidance throughout the season. It's cool to partner up with Brad Parrott again as our Crew Chief and I have a lot of confidence in Brad and his abilities. Our entire team is a solid group of very talented, hungry racers that are focused on building this into a winning program and that's exciting to be a part of. This will be a terrific year as we continue to build the HybridLight / Boy Scouts of America Race Program."
