Hyperco Expands Product Line in Response to 2019 IMCA Rules
CHICAGO, March 14, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Hyperco, an MW Industries company, announces an all-new line of performance springs designed specifically to meet the 2019 IMCA Modified Series regulations. Our new Hypercoil 9.9” free length by 5” OD front springs, available in 350, 400, and 450 lb rates, were developed based on extensive research from leading IMCA modified competitors, chassis builders and shock partners. These new products factor in the high stress levels of varying track conditions seen on the IMCA circuit and are designed to withstand repeated abuse in the harshest of environments, while maintaining Hyperco’s legendary tolerance for installed height and load consistency.
In addition, Hyperco has added additional rates of 50 and 85 lbs to their 16” by 5" OD conventional line of SNU series springs. With a limitation of a 16” free length on the rear of the IMCA Modified, the Hyperco line now offers more incremental rates ranging from 50-250 lbs to suit the needs of any competitive racer.
“Hyperco supports the new IMCA rules that specify maximum and minimum spring free length and outside diameter for both front and rear suspension,” states Kelly Falls, vice president of Hyperco. “By using the newly optimized Hypercoil 9.9” free length front spring line, racers will gain a performance advantage with additional usable deflection while remaining in compliance with the 2019 rules.”
