I Am Neda- Official Selection Santa Rose International Film Festival
Online, September 17, 2011 (Newswire.com) - I Am Neda (http://www.IAmNeda.com) is an Official Selection in the 'Cinema of Conscience' category at the Santa Rosa International Film Festival(http://www.sriff.org) which celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year.
I Am Neda screens as part of the 'Cinema of Conscience' Short Program on Saturday, September 17th at 4pm in the Summerfield Cinemas 2 (located at 551 Summerfield Road) and on Monday, September 19th at 5pm at Roxy 2 Roxy Stadium 14 (located at 85 Santa Rosa Avenue). In attendance on Saturday will be the film's director, Nicole Kian Sadighi as well as directors, Stephen Collins and James Breen.
Sadighi notes, "I'm thoroughly honored that my directorial debut, I Am Neda, is alongside 14 other films that share in the expressions of the challenges to humanity. I am even more excited to introduce Neda's story to those who may not have been aware of her courageous acts."
Additionally, Sadighi has been invited to participate in the 'Making Movies That Matter' Panel Discussion held on Saturday, September 17th from 11am-1:30pm at the Festival Hospitality Lounge #1 (located at Santa Rose Avenue at 3rd Street in downtown Santa Rosa). The Festival honors these, "Filmmakers who have made a serious commitment to expressing their concern and vision for a better world. Together, they will discuss the challenges of making movies that stand to make a difference to humanity."
