I Imagine Studio Receives Hermes Creative Award for Rotary International This Close Campaign
Online, June 7, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP) recently presented I Imagine Studio with the prestigious Hermes Creative Award for its outstanding work on the Rotary International microsite for the global interactive campaign to eradicate polio.
I Imagine was the recipient of the competition's highest honor, the esteemed Platinum Award, which is presented to the entries judged to be among the most outstanding in the competition. Platinum Award winners are recognized for the merit of their creativity and resourcefulness.
I Imagine's entry, an interactive microsite, was created as a part of Rotary International's effort to further heighten global awareness of polio eradication and enables people around the world to become part of the This Close campaign.
The site allows visitors to create their own This Close ads by selecting a silhouette, adding their name and picture, and adjusting skin and background colors to their preference. Once customized, the ads can be shared via social networks, emailed or saved to visitors' computers. Visitors can also leaf through an interactive book to view a gallery of user-customized ads.
I Imagine's microsite was one of over 4,000 entries in this year's Hermes Creative Awards. The international competition recognizes excellence in the communications field. Judges are highly respected marketing and communication professionals who look for companies and individuals whose work epitomizes superior quality and serves as a benchmark for the industry.
"It is an honor to be recognized for such an esteemed industry award," said Account Executive Yulia Kurdina. "With such a high level of competition, I believe it is a testimony to the creativity, strategic thinking and hard work that went into the This Close campaign."
