IACC (AP Branch) organized a discussion on the changes in US Visa Applications Process & Immigration Strategies

Andhra Pradesh Branch of Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) organized an Interactive Session on "Recent Changes in US Visa Applications" in association with US Consulate General, Hyderabad on 16th February at Hotel Golkonda, Hyderabad. The keynote session was administered by Mr. Gregory N. Rankin, Vice Consul, US Consulate General, Hyderabad. The seminar was aimed to provide an overview of the changes in US Visa Applications process & US Immigration strategies and educate on advanced issues related to government processing and compliance.

The event commenced with Ms. Abhilasha, Branch Secretary, IACC, Andhra Pradesh Branch inviting the Speakers and Guests on the Dias, followed by the Welcome Address and the introduction of the speaker by Mr. P. Bhaskara Narayana, Chairman, IACC, Andhra Pradesh Branch.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Narayana said, "We are extremely pleased to organize this session which brought the eminent leaders to share their views on various aspects of US Visa Application procedures & US Immigration strategies and the recent changes assimilated. The standard procedure is considered very complex and difficult to understand. It is extremely important to keep abreast with the recent changes and updates in the procedure. This platform has brought together the expertise of the leaders from the zenith and helped the audience to anticipate the situation better."

The introduction was followed by the presentation on "Recent Changes in US Visa Applications by Mr. Gregory N. Rankin. He shared his knowledge and extensive experience in the sector and talked at length about the various aspects involved in the process of US Visa application. The presentation raised issues with respect to the terms & conditions involved, case studies, Do's & Don't's of the US Visa Application process.

The event saw the audience discussing and exchanging their views in the context of the recent changes and various other related issues. The symposium witnessed the presence of HR & Immigration professionals; VPs in Global Recruitment, Senior Managers of MNCs along with the professionals from various industries and general audience.

The discussion was followed by the Open House (Q&A session) with the audience to understand the changes in US Visa Application procedure in a better way. The Open House paved the way to the presentation of mementos to Mr. Rankin by Mr. Bhaskara Narayana, followed by the "Vote of Thanks" by Mr. Purnachandra Rao, Vice-Chairman, IACC, Andhra Pradesh.
