IANS & Artico Search Release Cybersecurity Compensation Benchmark Report

BOSTON, January 18, 2022 (Newswire.com) - As cyber attacks increase in number, impact, and publicity, organizations continue to invest in their security programs to make them more business risk focused.

For most organizations, that means adding staff and rounding out managerial roles responsible for the critical security functions including security operations, governance, risk and compliance (GRC) and architecture and engineering.

This security staff compensation benchmark report offers objective and comprehensive data from 373 CISOs as part of the second annual CISO Compensation and Budget Survey conducted by IANS and Artico Search. Combined, respondents shared compensation data for 1,005 staff members, spread over the four key functional head positions in a security organization. This data includes breakdowns by industry sector, company size, and security team size, and it spans Canada and the U.S.
