IAQ Video Network Releases New Video from the Latest Pensacola IAQA Chapter Workshop
IAQ marketing veteran Paul Cochrane was asked to present new marketing techniques to the local chapter, so IAQTV.com went along for the ride.
Online, August 19, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The Pensacola Chapter of the Indoor Air Quality Association recently asked Paul Cochrane, the founder of Cochrane & Associates and the IAQ Video Network, to present to their local members new ways to market an IAQ business.
The IAQ Video Network took this opportunity to report on the Chapter workshop and to investigate any environmental damage we could see from the recent Gulf oil disaster.
Pensacola is situated on the pan handle of Florida. It is known as the city of five flags due to the fact that 5 governments have ruled the area. It is also home to a large military community and the home base for the legendary Blue Angels. The area boosts some of Florida's most beautiful beaches that did suffer from the BP Oil leak earlier this year, but our visit to the area showed no visible oil.
The Indoor Air Quality Association's Pensacola Chapter provides regularly scheduled professional forums to allow representatives from various industries the opportunity to share their experiences relevant to building sciences and indoor air quality.
This workshop took place on August 18th at the Pensacola Civic Center. Melissa Helmick, the chapter director from EMSL Analytical informed the members of the latest chapter news before introducing the day's speakers.
Local sponsors included EMSL Analytical and Marcor Environmental who each displayed information about their services and products.
Mr. Cochrane was first to present ways to enhance a company's marketing and public relations utilizing new technologies such as social media, online videos, internet marketing and ways to increase search engine optimization. Tim Welch and Robert Wilkos from Peaden Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing then talked to the chapter about Home Performance Testing with a fascinating case study of a beach front home in the area. Melissa Helmick wrapped up the workshop with a presentation that had been prepared by the American Council for Accredited Certification about what the new Florida mold law means to area professionals.
Local IAQA members in attendance, and those from as far away as New Orleans and Southern Florida, asked informative questions of the presenters and left the chapter meeting with new ideas on ways to market their business and provide the best indoor air quality for their customers.
