ICBM-School of Business Excellence Ties Up With PurpleLeap For Employability Training
ICBM-SBE has entered into an agreement with Purpleleap to train the students on domain specific job skills. The entire program will be conducted on the ICBM-SBE campus for the convenience of the students.
Online, July 24, 2012 (Newswire.com) - ICMB School Business Excellence (ICMB-SBE), a premier institution in Management Education, today announced a unique partnership to provide Skill Enhancement Programs, to train the students on domain specific job skills. The program will be run in partnership with PurpleLeap, a Pearson Educomp Company and a pioneer in entry level talent management. Students will undergo training at the PurpleLeap Atrium for Career Excellence (PL-ACE) set up within the campus. This partnership will function as a one-stop solution for career management and skill development of students including placement. The program is expected to immediately benefit students from ICMB-SBE. Prof S. ICMB-SBE will benefit from PurpleLeap's BizLeap and MaxLeap programs through this partnership. BizLeap, the first ever 'finishing school' for management graduates equips these students with the requisite skills, acumen and expertise expected of them. The BizLeap curriculum includes role-specific insights for specializations like sales & marketing, finance and HR roles, simulation and management games for experiential learning apart from corporate involvement through mentoring, internships and interaction with professionals. Students will get hands on experience of real life business situations and how they would deal with it. These training programmes aim to fill in the gap between theory and application, help students handle management situations and catapult employability of management graduates. PurpleLeap also brings in corporate partnerships to ensure that students from ICMB-SBE have better employment opportunities..
The state-of-theart learning infrastructure takes learning beyond the four walls. The entire program will be supported by a high-tech infrastructure which includes learning and discussion portals for assessment and tracking of a student's performance.
