Current Chairman of the Board Joseph Bonacci Steps into CEO Role to Provide Leadership During the Pandemic and Beyond

The Board of Directors of ICM Controls Corporation, the North Syracuse-based HVAC/R and custom control manufacturer, has named Joseph R. Bonacci the company’s President & Chief Executive Officer. Bonacci brings over 20+ years of leadership experience as both an executive and business owner. He joins ICM from Highfield Enterprises, a global telemarketing and call center, where he was CEO. Prior to Highfield, Mr. Bonacci was President and Owner of Excel Wholesale, a grocery and consumer staple wholesale and distribution company. In his new role, Mr. Bonacci will continue to serve as Chairman of ICM Controls’ Board of Directors, where he has played an active role since 2019. Mr. Bonacci is very familiar with the strategic and operational functions of ICM’s business and will have an immediate impact on business.

“As a nimble and technologically advanced company, ICM is ideally situated to not only survive but thrive in our current environment,” said Bonacci.  “I take seriously our role as both a local employer and essential business that directly impacts the fight against COVID 19. I’m humbled by the trust the ICM Board of Directors has put in me and am confident that ICM will continue to pivot and adjust to maintain our enviable market position as the go-to designer and manufacturer of controls.”

As part of ICM leadership changes, Zachary Kadah has been promoted to Vice President. Kadah has been with ICM since 2009 in a variety of capacities, most recently as OEM National Sales Manager. In his new VP role, Zach’s primary focus will be exercising his entrepreneurial ambition through driving revenue increases and all revenue-related functions, including shipping deliverables and business development.
