ICM Document Solutions participated in Phoenix MDA Executive Lockâ€up to support the national Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Telethon. ICM donated $3,267 towards the fight against the disease and to support the operational efforts of the MDA.

ICM employees, friends, and families raised almost $2,000 in the two weeks prior to the event. ICM Director of Product Development, James Prevallet, raised an additional $1,300 during his four hours working the local telethon. Prevallet was interviewed by the MDA host in order to increase donations and concurrently presented the donated ViewCenter®, ICM's Document Management Solution, valued at over $50,000, directly during the local Phoenixâ€based Channel 3 broadcast of the National MDA Telethon on September 6, 2010. Prevallet said, "This was an amazing event for me to participate in because my youngest son has Becker Muscular Dystrophy. The outpouring of love and generosity from ICM coâ€workers, colleagues and friends created a new hope for a cure for our family."

As the 45th Annual Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon ended on September 6, 2010, the tote board showed an impressive $58.9 million in donations and pledges for the voluntary health organization's programs of research and services to benefit people with neuromuscular diseases.

The Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon was first broadcast over Labor Day weekend in 1966. "I'm heartened by the unique ability of Americans to help others in need, when they themselves are likely struggling financially,'' said Lewis, national chairman of the MDA. Kevin Smith, President of ICM, added, "ICM was honored to participate in this event, and proud to have played a role in raising awareness and funding for this excellent cause. We are grateful to everyone who contributed, either financially or through donation of their time."
