Iconic Boca Raton condominium One Thousand Ocean showcased on new HGTV series
HGTV episode depicts One Thousand Ocean as an oasis of luxury.
Online, May 20, 2010 (Newswire.com) - BOCA RATON, Fla. - One Thousand Ocean, Boca Raton's iconic, new condominium residence, was featured in HGTV's May 6 episode of its new reality series "Selling New York." The nationally aired episode reflected the continuing desire of out of towners, including New Yorkers, to own premium residential real estate in Boca Raton for vacation homes or primary use.
Series star and top New York City broker Michelle Kleier, who vacations frequently in Boca Raton, chose One Thousand Ocean as one of two options for a prospective client looking for property in this market. Touring One Thousand Ocean, Kleier noted, "The views are amazing..." "It's so nice to walk out and be right on the beach."
Though the episode was filmed months earlier when One Thousand Ocean was under construction, the seven-story, oceanfront midrise has since been completed and is occupied by numerous residents.
"We are delighted that the show depicted One Thousand Ocean as the oasis of luxury that it truly is," remarked Jamie Telchin, president of development for LXR Luxury Resorts. "What HGTV viewers saw on the screen was just a taste. Seeing the finished building now is even better. Some purchasers have closed on their residences, moved in and are already enjoying the One Thousand Ocean experience."
One Thousand Ocean is located on the grounds of the Boca Raton Resort & Club. Residents of One Thousand Ocean who already are Premier Club members at the resort, or who elect to become members, are able to access the amenities and services of this Waldorf Astoria Collection property.
"One Thousand Ocean is much more than just another luxury condominium residence on the ocean. It has a coveted location on the tip of a private peninsula and presents a rare opportunity to combine carefree oceanfront living with an unrivaled resort lifestyle," Telchin concluded.
One Thousand Ocean features one- and two-story Beach Villas, Residences and Penthouses. The 52 residences average approximately 4,000 square feet with terraces that average approximately 1,200 square feet. Prices are from approximately $3 million to more than $15 million.
William Yahn, managing director with Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group, reports that the project is already at 69% under contract.
The Sales & Design Center is located at 725 South Ocean Boulevard. Visit www.onethousandocean.com for further information, or call (561) 869-5000 to arrange for a private showing.
