IDatix Hosting At PEX Week 2014
Online, January 3, 2014 (Newswire.com) - The in-person collaboration of experts in the process field is a rare and often challenging event. The Process Excellence Network has found a new way of bringing process professionals together by hosting their annual Process Excellence Week - a gathering of over 400 process-minded authorities and business experts at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek in Orlando, FL. PEX Week is a pan-industry event, with presentations from a range of industries occurring throughout all three days. PEX has also gone above and beyond to ensure that the event will include opportunities to learn, share and network for all process professionals, at all levels of the organization.
iDatix will be presenting a workshop at the event Monday, January 20th at 1:00PM. The workshop will be focused on the full-design mentality towards process automation, including the value of the metrics that good processes can yield and how to analyze them. In addition, the expert professional services team at iDatix will be teaching the pitfalls of bad analysis, and how to capture the benefits of good analysis after obtaining that crucial information.
The iDatix workshop sold out more than a month prior to the event, and is one of the most anticipated presentations of the weekend, being given alongside workshops and talks from other industry-leading professionals such as former Digital Development Director of The Times, Hector Arthur, and Vice President and Chief Process Officer for Warner Music Group, Tristan Boutros.
For those who were not able to register for the iDatix workshop, reservations for the conference event are still available, offering an exciting number of presentations and workshops throughout all three days.
There will also be opportunities to meet with the iDatix representatives and other industry specialists throughout the three-day conference, including a "guided tour" of the Exhibit Hall, where PEX Week specialists will help achieve focused matchmaking between attendees and exhibitors, ensuring that all in attendance have access to the right people. The iDatix Process Experts can be visited at booth #33.
Theresa Simpson, CI Manager at Air Products and Chemicals had this to say of last year's PEX Week: "Content was excellent and directly on target for current challenges and focus areas. Also liked the fact that ample time was allowed to discuss new developments with vendors."
A short sample of topics being presented at the event include "Creating a Process Ecosystem" with Tristan Boutros, "Going on a Sustained Process Journey: Establishing a Culture of Continuous Improvement" by process consultant Brad Power, and "Leveraging Best Practices Across Global Markets to Drive Productivity" with Melissa Alexander-Virga and Kathleen Dobbels of The Nielsen Company.
The rapidly evolving industry of process automation and business process management will benefit greatly from new insights and connections at PEX week, and iDatix is looking forward to lessons given and learned throughout the event.
"Process excellence is still a very young concept, with a climate and industry that has yet to be entirely cemented," stated Martin Levesque, Director of Professional Services at iDatix. "Events like PEX Week are vital to the success of the next generation of process excellence."
