IEC Foundation Announces Annual Golf Tournament Details

Today, the Independent Electrical Contractors Foundation (IECF) announced the details for its annual Tom Jones Memorial Golf Tournament to be held on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, at the Hillcrest Country Club in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Hillcrest Country Club is a premier golf course in the Midwest, designed in the mid-1920s by famed course architect Bill Diddel. The tree-lined course, bentgrass tees, lush fairways, and vibrant greens make up one of the most challenging and beautiful courses in the area. All golfers will enjoy a hot breakfast, 8:30 a.m. tee time, and a luncheon awards ceremony.

“Our Golf Tournament in previous years has raised over $10,000 for the IEC Foundation,” said Tom Alexander, IECF Board President. “With this support, new apprentices are given the opportunity to train to become electricians and technicians.”

“It’s going to be another great year, and we’re excited to put on another tournament to help support the next generation of electrical professionals,” said Gene Mini, IECF Sr. Vice Chair. “Our hope is to continue to partner with local businesses to make this year’s Tournament even more successful than the last.”

The IECF welcomes any and all businesses and organizations to participate in or sponsor the Tournament. Register for the Tournament using the IEC Convention & Expo 2018 website.
