'If You Text and Drive' ... Join the Revolution and Do Not Text and Drive
Patrick Argiro was rear-ended by a young girl as she was texting and driving. After four surgeries and years of therapy, he decided to address this issue by discussing how dangerous it is to text and drive and how selfish it is to do it anyway.
NEW YORK, February 20, 2018 (Newswire.com) - According to Mr. Patrick Argiro, texting while driving is as selfish of an act a human being can perform.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) sending or reading a text takes your eyes off the road for five seconds. At 55 mph, that's like driving the length of an entire football field with your eyes closed.
If You Text and Drive ... Can U not text?

According to an AAA poll, 94% of teen drivers acknowledge the dangers of texting and driving, but 35% admitted to doing it anyway.
Gender has nothing to do with this issue as men and women of all backgrounds and ethnicities carry out this ridiculous act of ignorance!
JOIN THE REVOLUTION!
The goal of the "If You Text and Drive" program is to:
- Work with foundations who are driven by the objective of stopping all distracted driving but especially the self-centered act of Texting and Driving.
- To bring about legislation that helps create texting and driving laws so severe that if caught, it will take the driver off the road or cause extreme financial penalties.
Join The Revolution! We need to unite and let people know that texting while driving will have consequences. Below are some tips to help quit this dangerous, selfish, and reckless habit:
- When driving simply put the phone down and pay attention to the road.
- Besides the lack of responsibility, when someone decides to text and drive they are being irresponsible.
- Make a pledge to put the phone down while driving.
- No one is so important that they are allowed to drive a weapon while reading or sending a text.
- As one individual to another put the phone down and be an example to family and friends that "you" will not text and drive.
