ILLUSIO Augmented Reality Virtual Mirror for Breast Simulation Launches Medstartr Project
San Clemente, CA, December 7, 2016 (Newswire.com) - ILLUSIO combines a fluid and lifelike 3D virtual image of a patient's breasts with a live image of her face and body to transform a wall mounted TV into a virtual mirror. The proprietary artistic adapters and deformers allow surgeons to easily manipulate virtual models to quickly replicate any real life breast characteristics.
Patients can now see themselves and their future bodies in real time. With the ILLUSIO 3D imaging system, she can turn side-to-side and in real-time see herself with all of the size and shape options that her surgeon creates, enabling her to make a quick and confident decision.
The global interest in our "virtual mirror" technology has been incredible. Our goal is to increase exposure as much as possible and leverage that momentum into growth. We have already developed a fully functional imaging system and we are now seeing the demand from international markets. Medstartr is the perfect platform to speak to our market of surgeons, patients and investors.

On December 7, ILLUSIO launched a Medstartr campaign to increase exposure of its ‘Virtual Mirror’ technology for breast simulation. For the first time, the company will be distributing a smart phone version of its breast simulation system. Contributors to the Medstartr campaign will be able to download the app and see a virtual simulation of the results of breast augmentation surgery.
This patient-facing app will be available exclusively through the Medstartr project by making a contribution of $20 or more.
