Imedi Films' Acclaimed Thriller, 247°F To Screen At Le Marche Du Film
Online, May 16, 2012 (Newswire.com) - 247°F stars Scout Taylor-Compton, Christina Ulloa, Michael Copon, Travis Van Winkle and Tyler Mane. The film follows four friends who travel to a lakeside cabin for a carefree weekend. The fun turns into a nightmare when three of them end up locked in a hot sauna. As the heat rises, well passed boiling point, the friends are cooking from the inside out. Every minute counts and every degree matters as they fight for their lives as the heat goes up to 247°F.
Since its premiere at the America Film Market in Santa Monica, California in 2011, 247°F has generating a plethora of media buzz. The filmmakers have capitalized on cult following and success of the Halloween franchise as the buzz mainly focuses on the onscreen reunion of Scout Taylor-Compton and Tyler Mane since the film Halloween. 247°F was immediately purchased by Anchor Bay and will be released in October 2012 to coincide with the Halloween holiday season.
247°F was co-directed by Levan Bakhia, CEO of SARKE STUDIOS and Beqa Jguburia, one of the biggest producers in the country of Georgia. While 247°F is Bakhia and Jguburia's first feature film, both directors have more than 10 years of experience in TV commercial directing and more than 200 projects in their portfolios.
247°F is the first completed film in a slate of films presented as part of a joint venture between SARKE STUDIO and IMEDI FILMS. The corporations are a match made in heaven. By joining the financial strength of IMEDI FILMS and the production experience of SARKE STUDIO, they have their goals set on making high quality films, for US and International markets. All films born from the venture will cast US talent and will be produced in Georgia.
