In case of power failure ... life goes on !
Witura Corporation now makes it possible for you to respond to power failure with your own power source. So when the lights go out, the generator takes over.
Online, April 15, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The WT-9001 GSM Monitoring and Control System for Generators allows authorised users the ability to control and manipulate generator units while off site from any location in the world via its text message/SMS alert and command relay capability thus eliminating the need to be constantly on site.
This capability to initiate commands via a mobile device makes it cost effective as no other sophisticated controller devices are required to be carried around by authorised users while going about their other daily business.
Any deviation from pre-set/normal operation mode alerts authorised users of the occurrence. Once an alert is received, the authorised user is able to initiate corrective measures via a mobile device.
This also reduces the time lost in diagnosing problems on site before calling for on site specialist assistance. In the event of a confirmed operation failure, a specialist team despatched on site will have prior knowledge concerning the nature of alerts sent by the system. This hastens resolution of the fault whereas in the past, this same matter would have meant a time consuming step by step checklist diagnosis.
"WT-9001 provides an integrated text message alert and remote control system. The device can be integrated with any diesel generator thus allowing the said unit to be monitored and controlled," explained Mr. William Lee, Product Manager of Witura.
"Up to 8 different alarm signals can be sent directly to an authorised cell phone. For example, alerts such as "Diesel Low" or "Oil Pressure Low".
"The generator can be activated or stopped by sending a text message or call to the generator unit from anywhere in the world. Used in tandem with the alert capability, users are able to decide when to initiate the order to turn on or turn off respective generator units when off site even in the event of an electrical power disruption" added Mr. William Lee.
The text message/SMS alert and command system provides authorised users the convenience to quickly and easily manipulate their generator units worldwide with the knowledge and assurance that problems are sorted out quickly, efficiently with optimal results.
In addition, the security features ensure secure usage, safe from interference by unauthorised parties.
Mr. William Lee says: "It is our commitment to develop products and provide solutions to our customers using GSM technology."
