In Short Publishing Launches Short Story Series
Australian publisher In Short Publishing has launched an innovative series of short story pocket book series featuring the work of 18 new authors
Melbourne, Australia, December 14, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Australian publisher In Short Publishing has launched its first series of short story pocket books with 18 separate titles by different authors.
The pocket books are custom-sized at 140 x 90mm with approximately 32 pages. They are available via In Short’s online store and postage is free within Australia, and free for international orders of 5 or more books (currently posting to Europe, North America and New Zealand only).
"Our intention is to encourage a new wave of readers who will find pleasure in finishing a book in a single sitting. From here, we wish to build upon a uniformed short-story collection of small books by authors new and established — single stories that can be shelved, shared, passed-on, and (best of all) pocketed," a spokesperson for In Short Publishing commented.

Each titles features a distinctive yellow cover and all titles are individually numbered to make collecting easier.
The first series features work by: Fikret Pajalic, Chloe Turner, Barry Lee Thompson, Andrew Hook, SJ Finn, Lochlan Bloom, R. Campbell Zaino, Alexis J Reed, Warwick Newnham, Laura McPhee-Browne, A. Joseph Black, Margaret Pearce, John D Rutter, Emilie Morscheck, Kay Kerr, Armel Dagorn, Terri-Ann Sherwood and Ramon Loyola
“There are relatively few publishing houses who primarily publish the short story as a single entity, so we’re thrilled not only to produce something a little different but also to provide an opportunity for writers to have their stories recognised individually,” the spokesperson added.
